The BWP licensed stallion Uberdale-V became the price highlight of the first dressage auction hosted by the Aloga Auction team at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Belgium on 7 May 2024.
Powered by the Allen show jumping family and assisted by Maurice Tebbel and Sönke Rothenberger, Aloga ventured into dressage with a small capsule collection and achieved great sales success.
Twelve young dressage horses were offered for sale and Leopold Engelen's 4-year old Uberdale-V (by Everdale x Decamerone) sold for 300,000 euro to a Chinese dressage rider.
The second most expensive horse was the 5-year old Fuego (by Follow Him's Schonweide x Silberschmied). Bidders from Armenia were up against the Danish syndicate of Laudrup-Dufour and Zinglersen and the latter won the bidding process. Fuego moves to Denmark for 260,000 euro.
Gestut Bonhomme's 4-year old Westfalian premium stallion Forever Rock (by Franziskus x Rock Forever) sold to The Netherlands for 160,000 euro.
The 3-year old Semper Royal (by So Perfect x Rubin Royal) went for 120,000 euro, while the 3-year old Smaragd (by Shu Fu x Florencio) sold to the U.K. for 115,000 euro.
The 4-year old stallion Vino Frizzante (by Vivino x Franklin) sold to Judith Koeppel for 110,000 euro, while the licensed stallion Salt Lake City (by Secret x Lord Loxley) sold to an Armenian client of Russian born Alena Starr, who now proudly rides for Armenia. They paid 105,000 euro.
Four horses sold for less than 100K: The 3-year old Emotion (by Escolar x Goldberg) moves to Australia for 60,000 euro, while Del Piero (by De Niro Gold x Abendtanz) sold for the sale price. San Diego (by Sezuan's Donnerhall x Hotline) went for 55,000 euro. Americans purchased Venice Beach (by Vitalis x Don Schufro) for 55,000 euro.
