1999 World Cup Finals
Anky van Grunsven and Gestion Bonfire (by Welt As) win the World Cup for fifth time at the 1999 World Cup Finals in Dortmund, Germany. Belgian photographer Dirk Caremans was on the scene to take the best action shots from this event.
Van Grunsven scored 82.69% in the Kur to Music finals and placed first. Isabell Werth and Dr. Uwe Schulten-Baumer's Trakehner gelding Anthony FRH (by Argument) placed second with 80.31%. Aachen based Alexandra Simons-de Ridder and her power house Holsteiner gelding Chacomo landed a third place with 76.05%
