1999 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses
Most discussed young dressage star, Lord Sinclair, has been pulled out of the 1999 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. The 5 year old Bayeren approved stallion by Lanciano placed fourteenth with a mark of 8.10 in the first qualifying test.
Rider Miriam Henschke and the owners, the Ozark concern from Hong Kong, agreed to withdraw the gorgeous dark bay from the competition.
"Lord Sinclair had a hard time at the German Hengstenleistungsprufung. He won the 100 day test with 134 points but he is actually too exhausted to appear in top shape in Arnhem. We rather give him rest than letting him show a mediocre performance," the owners commented.
