Nissan Gigolo FRH will say farewell to dressage competitions on November 19, 2000. At the CDI/CSI Stuttgart German Masters, the 17-year-old Hanoverian gelding by Graditz will be honoured for his life-time achievements.
Definitely the most successful dressage horse ever, Gigolo has won 4 world and 8 European championship gold medals. Furthermore, he claimed 4 times Olympic gold and 2 times Olympic silver. Due to his successes -- his career took ten years -- his rider and owner won 883.918 DM of prize money.
For one last time, Isabell Werth will ride her Olympic kur to music after the CDI Stuttgart Grand Prix Special. His beautiful career will end with one last victory lap. Stuttgart was chosen as the place-to-say-goodbye, because dr Reiner Klimke's Ahlerich and Nicole Uphoff's Rembrandt also ended their historic competition life in Stuttgart, Germany.
