Olympic silver team medallist, Coby van Baalen, has to put riding on hold for a while. Due to a bad spill off one of her horses, Van Baalen got a light concussion and small injuries to her arm, shoulder and cheek.
Doctors advised her to take it easy for a few weeks and stay in bed as much as possible. Her planned entry at the CDI Mechelen, Belgium, from 25th - 30th December has been cancelled. Daughter Marlies and student Nathalie Smeets will take over Coby's horses in the meantime.
