2002 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The Dutch bred stallion Rubels (by Rafurstinsels) reclaimed his world champion's title at the 2002 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, 1 - 3 August 2002. Ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud, Renata Landa's grey stallion won the first and second round as well as the finals, totalling 423.70 points.

Holga Finken and the liver chestnut Hanoverian gelding Wanesco, the reserve champion of last year, claimed silver again. Sandra Deker and the long legged black Dream a Little Dream ended up with the bronze medal.
