Winners of the 2002 AMEV Hippo Cup at the CDI-W Maastricht, The Netherlands, were Imke Bartels and the KWPN licensed stallion OO Seven. The duo scored 70,33 % in the first test and 74,43 % in the kur to music (fourth level).
n the AMEV Hippo Cup Finals, OO Seven showed two balanced tests with no weaknesses, yet the horse could have been a little more engaged from behind. He stayed up throughout the test and was relaxed in the trot and canter.
Imke Bartels and OO Seven have already built up an impressive list of achievements with twice reserve champion in the Pavo Cup as current apex in their career. In 2001, OO Seven and Imke Bartels represented the Netherlands at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
OO Seven was champion of the Stallion Performance Test in 1999 with the highest scores is his training report: Walk 8, Trot 9, Canter 9, Dressage suitability 9. Bred by Isabel Sponselee, OO Seven descends from a famous breeding line with the legendary Rubinstein as sire and Gelbria as dam. Gelbria is by Doruto out of the Amor-mare Ilbria, and is a full sister to Olympic Barbria who competed at the 1996 Olympic Games under Tineke Bartels.
Ilbria is also dam of Vobria, who is dam of the Grand Prix dressage horse Celiton, formerly shown by Leida Strijk. Both Barbria and Celiton had a significant input for the KWPN being the best studbook according to the WBCSH in 1999. Several OO Seven offspring sold for top prices at foal auctions in the Netherlands.
