The USET is pleased to announce that Brentina, owned by Peggy and Parry Thomas and ridden to the 2002 USET Dressage Grand Prix Championship by Debbie McDonald
, has been chosen as the 2003 USET Breyer model horse. Brentina is the eighth Breyer model in the popular USET series.
Brentina and McDonald were double Gold Medal winners at the 1999 Pan American Games. The pair was also the 2001 USET Grand Prix Champions. This past September, at the World Equestrian Games in Spain, Brentina and Debbie were part of the Team Silver Medal earned by the U.S. The pair finished an impressive fourth in the WEG individual standings.
The Breyer Big Ben mold was adjusted to create an accurate mare model of Brentina. The specially designed Brentina horse will be limited to a run of 750. Purchase of this special edition model is limited to two (2) per customer or address. In the past, these models have sold out quickly and become true collectibles for horse enthusiasts.
The model will first be available for sale at the Bayer/USET Festival of Champions, June 19 - 22 in Gladstone, New Jersey. All models remaining after the initial Festival sale will be filled from the mail/fax/internet requests in the order in which they were received.
