2000 Bundeschampionate Reserve Champion and licensed breeding stallion Weltstar has been sold to Australia. The 7-year old black stallion by Weltmeyer out of St. Pr. St Feine Dame
(by Feiner Stern x Pik Bube II) has been purchased by Dr. Kerry Mack, who also owns Mayfield Pzazz, a Dutch warmblood stallion by Jazz she competed at the 2003 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Weltstar was also known in The Netherlands as "Whisper" and was competed there by Hans Peter Minderhoud.
The black Hanoverian stallion Weltstar was born in 1996 and made a rapid career as breeding and sport horse. At the 2000 Bundeschampionate, the dropdead gorgeous Weltstar was ridden Susanne Miesner.
In his Bundeschampionate review, Horse Magazine editor Chris Hector praised Weltstar for his "real scope and genuine movement," and favoured the Hanoverian to the class winning Trakehner Latimer.
During the 2003 show season, Weltstar was shown by the Dutch Hans Peter Minderhoud, while the black was up for stud at De Dalhoeve. In The Netherlands, the stallion was known as "Whisper". Minderhoud competed "Whisper" at the Zwolle International Stallion show and won the consolation finals in the Young Stallion Class. They also became the ZZ-licht champions at the 2003 Dutch Dressage Championships and won the Fourth level Stallion Class at the CDI Verden.
