Anky van Grunsven and her silver medal winning mount at the 2003 World Young Horse Championships, Painted Black, will be showing at the Trakehner Gala Evening in Neumunster, Saturday October 25, 2003.
The Trakehner Gala is the highlight of the annual Trakehner Stallion Licensing, which takes place in Neumunster, Germany, from Thursday to Sunday October 23-26, 2003.
Anky van Grunsven and Painted Black (by Gribaldi x Ferro) are part of the Get of Sire presentation of the renowned Trakehner sire Gribaldi (by Kostolany). Gribaldi, who standing in the Netherlands, will be presented by his steady rider, the Dutch Edward Gal. Other Gribaldi offspring coming to the Gala are Anne van Uytert's Paragon and Hans Peter Minderhoud's Rambo. The latter competed in the 2003 Pavo Cup Finals in August in Ermelo, The Netherlands.
Anky van Grunsven has always strongly promoted the Trakehner breeder through Trakehner Contact Nederlands (TCN). TCN and Van Grunsven bought TCN Partout (by Arogno) more than a decade ago to stimulate the usage of Trakehner blood in breeding in The Netherlands.
Lisa Wilcox and Ernst Hoyos are also coming to Neumunster. They will be giving a clinic on the classical training of horses at Third and Fourth level.
