The crisis for Dutch Dressage has still not come to an end. After the resignation of Jan Peeters, Sjef Janssen, Johan Hinnemann and Ton de Ridder, Dutch pony chef d'equipe Adriaan Hamoen is joining the pink-slip-club.
Hamoen has decided to focus on judging (Grand Prix level) and has resigned from his position as pony Chef d'Equipe.
Hamoen became Chef d'Euipe in 1999, taking over the function from Jan Derks. Hamoen was considered an excellent pony chef d'equipe as he was able to cooperate very well with the pony team trainers for show jumping (Wim Bonhof), dressage (Mieke de Kok) and eventing (Jan Huizinga).
The Dutch Equestrian Federation has not yet found a replacement for Adriaan Hamoen.
