The Weser Ems pony breeding stallion Durello is leading the 2003 German Breeding Rankings as top earning pony sire. This is Durello's second consecutive year that is in the lead due to his most successful competing offspring.

In 2003, Durello's get won 14,535 Euro purse money in total at German shows. Durello is a 22- year old stallion by Duktus x Maculano xx. He's stationed at his owner Josef Volle in Lüdinghausen, Germany, together with sire Nantano. Durello sired 16 licensed sond and 32 State Premium Mares.

Second in the ranking is the Westfalian pony stallion Dressmann I (Domingo x Nadler). Dressmann has been twice European Dressage Pony Champion under Katharina Winkelhues, having produced equally successful offspring. Fifty of his get gathered 12,284 € purse money in total.

Third placed stallion in the 2003 FN Pony Breeding Ranking is the recently deceased Brillant (by Prian John Halifax). 56 of his offpring cashed in 12,246 €.
