French Grand Prix dressage rider Hubert Perring has made a very nasty fall of his horse, breaking his tigh bone in six places. Perring has to stay immobile in the hospital for two months
and can not ride for at least eight to twelve months, depending on the speed of his recovery.
For 47-year old Hubert Perring this accident is very unwelcome, as he planned to make a come back with his steady mount Diabolo St Maurice, a 13-year old French warmblood by Plein d'Espoir IV x Et Hop, who was recently operated on his throat for roaring.
Perring lives in Auxerre, France, and is an officer at the Garde Republicain. According to the FEI, he was three times military World Champion.
