Finnish dressage rider Kyra Kyrklund has changed her mind about locating to Sweden and has decided to stay in England. The reason of this weathercock behaviour is that Kyra and her British partner Richard White
were offered to purchase Snowhill Farm in Sussex.
"We were looking in both Britain and Sweden. The Swedish property didn't work out and we found a perfect opportunity in Sussex," Kyra said to Horse and Hound.
Kyrklund planned on purchasing a training centre in Sweden, right near her student Jan Brink and Minna Telde's Tullstorp Stable. "It took too long a time for the politicians in Sweden to decide if they should sell or not," Minna Telde explained, "so because she didn´t know how long it would take before she could buy the Swedish Farm, Kyra took the offer in England."
Snowhill Farm in Sussex has 22 boxes and 36 acres of land and is the perfect base for Kyra to prepare herself and her mount Andiamo Tyme to represent Finland at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
