Following a series of CDI competitions in Europe, the Dutch chef d'equipes have made some changes to their teams. Pony Chef d'equipe Mieke de Kok has decided to submit Priscilla Smets and her bay gelding in the A-team.
Between the CDI-P in Duisburg and the CDI-P in Helden, Smets has grown into Holland's third best pony rider after Marrigje van Baalen and Astrid Langenberg. Priscilla Smets lives in Tegelen, The Netherlands and her pony Liquido R is a 7-year old Rhinelander. Pony rider Lotte Jansen and El Gidion has been submitted into the B-team.
In April, chef d'equipe Jan Peeters decided to submit junior rider Danielle van Mierlo into the A-team. Aboard her own Kevin, Van Mierlo has been getting higher scores lately and is now the fourth rider in the Dutch junior A-team. Other A-team members are Bibi van Berkel, Lotje Schoots and Diederik van Silfhout.
