Imke Schellekens and the KWPN licensed stallion OO Seven won the 2004 Pikeur Trophy Finals in The Hague, The Netherlands. The Pikeur Trophy is a Belgian-Dutch Prix St Georges tour for riders no older than 29.
Twenty-one combinations qualified for the semi finals and five made it into the Kur to Music final on Sunday September 5, 2004
Imke Schellekens and her black stallion OO Seven (by Rubinstein x Doruto) reigned supreme in both tests. Though there were two mistakes in the pirouette and extended trot in her freestyle ride, Schellekens pushed the score up to an impressive 74.20% taking the lead and overall victory.
Belgian young rider Hannelore Volders finished in a strong second place. The 2004 Pikeur Trophy Finals was a real venture for her. On freestyle day, Volders got stuck in traffic with her horse, not making it in time for the class. The organisation, however, was so lenient to allow her to ride her test during one of the show blocks. Volders' perseverence paid off because aboard her Chronos offspring she placed second overall.
