American former Olympic team rider Sue Blinks will be leaving Florida and is moving to the West Coast, where she will be sharing a barn with Guenter Seidel in Rancho Santa Fé, California.
Blinks sold her farm "Bedford Mews" in Wellington, Florida, in one day and is moving her entire possession to California at the end of November.
The 47-year old Sue Blinks has been an anchor rider for the American team at the 2000 Olympic Games and 2002 World Equestrian Games. Her equine partner is these ventures was the Hanoverian gelding Flim Flam (by Wilhelm Tell). Flim Flam's owner Fritz Kundrun has been Blinks' sponsor for many years. With Blinks' move out West, the Kundruns are retaining Ali Brock as their trainer.
With the help of Louise Leatherdale, Sue Blinks recently purchased the 2003 Pavo Cup Champion Robin Hood (by Jazz). Blinks' other, current competition horse is the small tour gelding Orlando.
