Tanja Lammers is the new second rider ("Bereiter") at Gestut Vorwerk. Lammers is replacing Mareike Peckholz who left the Gestut in the summer to find a new challenge in her life.
Lammers started working at Vorwerk on September 1 and will be officially moving to Cappeln in October.
Gestut Vorwerk, one of the leading stallion stations in Germany standing Rohdiamant, Relevant, Royal Diamond, and many more, had Lisa Wilcox and Mareike Peckholz as main riders of the stallions and youngsters. Peckholz regularly competed Regal Dancer and Revan. Bronze team Olympic medallist Lisa Wilcox is still the number one rider and is coached by Ernst Hoyos.
"Tanja Lammers was previously employed at Gronwoldhof and has competed up to M-level," Gudula Vorwerk said. "We hope that e have considerably improved our team by hiring Tanja, but that will only show the next couple of months."
Mareike Peckholz is currently training horses at Stable Viebrock. Lammers has recently been competing horses such as Highlander and Don Cavallo. With the latter, Lammers placed fourth at the Hanoverian 3-year old Riding Horse Championship in Verden.
