The 2005-2006 KWPN/KNHS Stallion Competition continued this week in Zuidbroek, The Netherlands. Game Boy defeated serial winner Uptown but Dream Catcher and Florencio maintained their lead in the competition.
At L-level, Game Boy (by Gribaldi x Pion) excelled by being extremely loose and relaxed in the body, even though his head tilted in the leg yields. Uptown (by Kennedy) showed himself harmoniously and uphill but couldn't keep up this suppleness and swing throughout the test. Game Boy scored 83 points, Uptown 78.5. Uphill, who lost a few points in his presentation and not so much on his basic gaits, placed third.
The Oldenburg bred Dream Catcher (by Day Dream x Rubinstein) is undefeated at M-level. Under owner Mirelle van Kemenade, the dark bay licensed stallion beat Yvonne Copal and Tuschinski (by Krack C). Hans Peter Minderhoud and Tolando (by Krack C) landed a third place.
Westfalian bred Florencio (by Florestan x Weltmeyer) reigned supreme at Z-level. Hans Peter Minderhoud had no difficulties keeping Diederik van Silfhout and Special D (by Metall) from first place. The NRPS licensed Sumrail placed third under Laurine Brucher.
