The Dutch Equestrian Federation announced two changes in the formation of the Dutch dressage teams. The 24-year old Laurens van Lieren got submitted into the Grand Prix A-team because he recently scored twice above 68% in a Grand Prix test.
Van Lieren rode himself into the picture att the international show in Stadl Paura, Austria, where he achieved 69.71% and 72.28% in the Grand Prix Special. He was aboard his steady partner Hexagon's Ollright, a home bred Dutch warmblood gelding by Rubiquil.
17-year old Diederik van Silfhout became a member of the Junior Riders A-team. Last year, Van Silfhout won team silver with Popeye at the 2004 European Junior Riders Championships. This year he is riding two new horses; Olympus (by Havel) and Der Boss (by Donnerhall).
