With the CDIO Aachen approaching rapidly (the trot up is tomorrow!), more news is pouring in daily. Changes have been carried out to the Danish team, for instance. Anders Dahl will not be riding Mr G de Lully at Aachen but is opting for Fiona Bigwood's Danish warmblood Afrikka.
Joachim Thomsen, who achieved a good Grand Prix score at the CDI Hansbeke aboard Mikado Envang, has been added to the Danish team for Aachen, which means that four riders in total will be representing the "Dannebrog" in the CDIO leg at Aachen.
The opening ceremony in Aachen will be featuring two very interesting dressage combinations. FEI Pony rider Annabel Frenzen, who recently won the Pony Derby at the CDN Bad Salzuflen, will be showing the former European pony Champion Golden Dancer. Furthermore, Olympic Champion Isabell Werth will be performing a demo ride on her Olympic gold medal winning horse Gigolo!! We can't wait to see that.
Eurodressage will be "on the scene" to cover the CDIO Aachen as of Thursday May 18, 2006.
