Dutch Grand Prix dressage rider Johan Rockx has offered his Grand Prix horse Tango to student Sophie Baetens-Van Lent to train and compete. Rockx' Tango is a Dutch warmblood gelding by Sit This One Out xx x Symfonie x Ornaat.
"I train Sophie and Dark Diamant and lately they've been doing so well. Unfortunately, Dark Diamant got injured and has to take a break for a while. I currently have three Grand Prix horses, Maverick, Kondor and Tango, and I can spare one of them," Johan Rockx told Eurodressage. "We were also thinking about selling Tango, so Penny [Rockx-Zavitz] and I agreed to give Tango to Sophie. She can ride and compete him until he's sold. Tango is more of a ladies horse anyway. So it's a positive situation for all of us."
Rockx' competed Tango at Grand Prix level at national shows in The Netherlands and several international competitions. He was a member of the Dutch B-team with him. They also participated in the 2005 Dutch Dressage Championships, in which they finished twelfth overall.
