Dutch Grand Prix rider Thamar Zweistra won the 2006 Pikeur Trophy Semi-Finals held at the 2006 Belgian Pony, Junior and Young Riders Championships at Dressuurstal Verwimp in Wiekevorst, Belgium, Sunday August 13, 2006.
Aboard Hexagon's Roumanda (Rubiquil x Matador), Zweistra rode a clean test with a very expressive trot tour and a decent canter tour. They scored 70.050% which gave them the lead. Dominique Fillion and Pride landed a second place with 69.10%. They were followed by the Belgian duo Hannelore Volders on the Oldenburg Real Magic (by Rubinstein).
Due to the cancelling of the CDN The Hague, the 2006 Pikeur Trophy Finals are going to be held at the "Horse Event" in Deurne, The Netherlands, September 17, 2006.
