Dutch warmblood stallions Vivaldo, Uphill (pictured) and Trento B are the winners of the first qualifier of the 2006-2007 KWPN/KNHS Stallion Competition circuit. The first leg was organized in Hengelo, The Netherlands, today.
At L-level (First Level), the black stallion Vivaldo (Polansky x Montecristo) took the lead under owner Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox. The elegant pair scored 88 points in total and beat Hans Peter Minderhoud on Johnson (Jazz x Flemmingh), who landed a second place. De Ijzeren man head trainer Niels Bax finished third aboard Samba Hit II (Sandro Hit x Brentano II) with 83,5 points. Further ranked were Valdez, Santano, Dramatic, Citango, Voice, Velazquez, Vic and Vino Delmonte.
Emelie Scholtens and Uphill (Oscar x Apollonios xx) won the M-level (second/third level) class. With a score of 81 points, they topped the leader board. Hans Peter Minderhoud and the KWPN licensing champion Uptown (Kennedy x Ubis) placed second with 79 points. Edward Gal and United (Krack C x TCN Partout) finished third with 77 points.
Kim Leduc and the bay licensed stallion Trento B (Krack C x Ramiro) won the Z-level class (Third/Fourth level). With a score of 83,5 points, Leduc referred Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox and her Oldenburg bred Pavo Cup champion Dreamcatcher (Day Dream x Rubinstein) to a second place. Hans Peter Minderhoud and Tango (Jazz x Contango) placed third with 73 points.
