The second leg of the 2006-2007 KWPN/KNHS Stallion competition circuit was hosted at Stal De Ijzeren Man in Weert. The winners of the three stallion classes were Vivaldo, Ufo and Decor Dreamcatcher.
The dark bay Vivaldo (Polansky x Montecristo) won at L-level under his owner Mirelle van Kemenade. The pair scored a very impressive 88,5% and stayed well ahead of the second placed Oldenburg stallion Johnson (Jazz x Flemmingh). Under Hans Peter Minderhoud the bay KWPN approved stallion scored 86.5%. German Jana Freund placed third with the Hanoverian licensed Dramatic. Owned by Fiona Bigwood, Dramatic is a Don Frederico x Weltmeyer. Freund received 86.0% from the judges.
At M-level, Kirsten Beckers reigned supreme with Ufo (Metal x El Corona). They topped the leader board with 84.5%, while Emelie Scholtens and Uphill (Oscar x Appolonios xx) finished second with 82.0%. The Oldenburg licensed Unee (by Gribaldi x Dageraad) placed third with 81.0%
Mirelle van Kemenade also won the Z-level class with her PSI auction horse and Pavo Cup champion Decor Dreamcatcher (Day Dream x Rubinstein). With 84.25%, Van Kemenade blew away the competition. Hans Peter Minderhoud and Tango (Jazz x Contango) ranked second with 78.75%. Kim Leduc and Trento B (Krack C x Ramiro) landed a third place with 78.0%.
