Olympic dressage judge Wim Ernes will be succeeding Frank Jespers as member of the KWPN Stallion Licensing Committee for Dressage as of December 1, 2007. The KWPN Members' Board accepted the KWPN Board of Directors' proposal to appoint Ernes
as the new stallion dressage judge.
The 48-year old Wim Ernes has much experience judging young horses and their suitability for dressage. For many years he has been involved in the Pavo Cup and the KWPN/KNHS Stallion Competition and last year he was a big helping hand in the selection of the Dutch team for the 2006 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.
Ernes has competed several horses himself at small tour level and has been Dutch Dressage Team Coach from 1993 to 1996. He's currently active as chairman of the Dressage Committee of the Dutch Equestrian Federation and is member of the Dutch training commission for dressage judges.
Wim Ernes will be joining Arie Hamoen and Jacques Laarakkers on the KWPN stallion licensing committee for dressage.
