The individual gold medal went to German young rider Christin Schutte on Hohenstaufen (by Hohenstein), while Kristine Sprehe earned silver and Valentina Truppa got bronze. German Verenavan der Linde became the Champion of Hearts when she scored the same result as Valentina Truppa
in the Individual test, but Truppa won bronze because she had the better footnotes.
This is one of many strange results at the European JRYR Championships that no one could understand, because Truppa's first half of the test was ruined completely by lack of submission, whereas Mitchell is known for her reliability.
