Danish Grand Prix team horse Clearwater has been sold to The Netherlands. Danish Anne van Olst, who is married to Dutch stallion keeper Gert Jan van Olst, will be riding the bay gelding. Clearwater has been purchased by Linda en Renée Kies
of Team Exquis, which also sponsors dressage rider Hans Peter Minderhoud.
"He's even better than I thought. I can't wait until he's here tomorrow. I'm crazy about him," Van Olst told the Danish magazine Ridehesten. Van Olst also has Grand Prix horses Negro and Dexter at her disposal. Both recently recovered from injuries.
Clearwater (by Carpaccio x Limebrand) was owned by Klaus Munkedal and ridden by Sanne Hennigsen. The pair was a member of the Danish Team at the 2007 European Dressage Championships in Turin, Italy. Clearwater was also 6-year old champion at the 2004 Danish Young Horse Championships and participated at the 2003 and 2004 World Young Horse Championships in Verden.
