Two horses tied in first place to win the Granderheide Bundeschampionate Qualifier for 6-year old Dressage Horses at the Granderheide Reitertage in Schleswig-Holstein, May 16-18, 2008. Herbert Boger and Wesley as well as Eva Oetjens and Simpson
received a 7.8 total score from the judges.
Boger and Wesley, a dark grey Hanoverian Wind Dancer x Fabriano gelding, scored the best average in the basic gaits, 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk and 8 for canter, while Eva Oetjens and Simpson, a dark bay Sandro Hit x Classiker stallion, excelled in trot and canter with 8.5 scores, but were downgraded in their 6.5 walk. Both combinations scored 7.8 overall and placed for the Bundeschampionate Finals in Warendorf.
Annette Weiß and Lillebror, a bay Hanoverian gelding by Likoto xx x Warkant, placed third with 7.0.
