The shopping spree of Ole and Lotte Vagner , Andreas Helgstrand's new sponsors, has not yet come to an end. Danish equestrian magazine Ridehesten reported that Lotte Vagner has acquired a new ride for herself: Tannenhof's Solero TSF.
The dark bay stallion will serve as her schoolmaster.
The 16-year old licensed Trakehner stallion Solero (by Hyllos x Polargeist) is bred by Roswitha Schwecht and was successfully trained and competed at international Grand Prix level by Anja Plönzke, daughter of Tannenhof's owner Klaus Plönzke. Solero was proclaimed Trakehner Stallion of the Year and finished third at the German Dressage Championships. He competed his last show with Plönzke in Frankfurt in December 2008.
Lotte's husband Ole Vagner is a renowned Danish banker with a degree in business administration. He has worked as an executive at the SJL-bank/Alm Brand Bank in Copenhagen. In 1989 he formed InvestorPartner A/S, and in 1998 he founded Keops A/S, which was sold for millions in 2007. He currently is involved in real estate and owns, for instance, investment property in Sweden with an estimated worth of 5 billion Danish Kroner.
The Vagner family recently bought Tannenhof's Carabas as Grand Prix ride for Andreas Helgstrand and they acquired Bundeschampion Laetare for 520,000 euro at the 2008 PSI auction.
