2008 European individual silver medallist Antoinette Te Riele is on form in the 2009 Imperial Riding Cup for Dutch FEI pony riders.
After having won the first leg with Golden Girl, the Weert based Dutch pony rider won the third leg in Uden with her second pony Danny Boy B (by Flying Dream) on February 21, 2009.
Trained by Coby van Baalen, Te Riele scored 71,759% and topped the leader board. Behind her was Maria van den Dungen on Rembrant with 70.556%. The winner of the second leg and current Dutch rising pony star, Dana van Lierop, now landed a third spot aboard Lord Champion on 70.093%.
Thirty-nine pony riders were entired for the third qualifier in the Imperial Riding Cup. 2008 Dutch pony team rider Anne Meulendijks slotted in fourth with Boticelli. They scored 67.778%.
The fourth Imperial Riding Cup trial takes place on Saturday 7 March 2009 in Harmelen, The Netherlands. The finals are on Sunday 28 June 2009 in Almelo.
