Isabell Werth has won the final 2009 World Cup Qualifier of the Western European League before the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas next month. Aboard Satchmo, Werth rode a faultfree kur to music and scored 84.150%. The competition never seemed so tough as now. Adelinde Cornelissen finished second with 82.500% while a strong Anky van Grunsven slotted in third with 82.450%. Salinero was very fit but a lapse in concentration led to a big mistake which cost her the victory.
