The Danish equestrian site Ridehesten.com reported that Blue Hors Stud has purchased the second half of the Grand Prix horse Gredstedgårds Casmir.

The dark bay Hanoverian gelding by Continue x Rastell was already owned for one half by Blue Hors Stud. They now purchased the other 50% from co-owner Laila Roschmann.

Gredstedgårds Casmir was bred by Else and Peder Øllgaard and sold as a young horse to Laila Roschmann. The gelding's first rider was Bettina Laisbo, but under Pernille Ørum he won the Danish Young Horse Championships for 6-year olds. It was then that the horse caught the attention of Blue Hors and was bought for 50%

Under Andreas Helgstrand Casmir moved up to Grand Prix level and won the 2007 Danish Grand Prix Championships. They also qualified for the individual finals at the 2007 European Dressage Championships in Turin, Italy, and competed at the 2008 World Cup Finals in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.

Blue Hors' new in-house rider Sune Hansen has taken over the ride and will be competing the 10-year old gelding in the future. In agreement with Danish team trainer Rudolf Zeilinger, Blue Horse decided to invest fully in this horse.
