The 2009 European Young Riders Championships are kicking off tomorrow in Ermelo, The Netherlands but the Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced a small last-minute alteration to the Dutch team.
Diederik van Silfhout will not be riding his number one horse Ruby, but his reserve horse Davidoff. The KWPN mare Ruby (by Gribaldi) is injured and will be replaced by the Finnish bred Davidoff (by Davignon I x Rotschild).
The Dutch young horse team that will compete at the 2009 World Young Horse Championships in Verden as of Thursday has also been changed. Robin Beekink and her grey gelding Zaragossa (by San Remo x Democraat) has not travelled to Verden because of an injury. The combination will be replaced by Annarein Kerbert with Zolena (by Sir Sinclair). Lynne Maas and Zamora (by Krack C) are the reserve combination now.
