The most successful dressage rider of this season is coming to Holland for a Master class at the Global Dressage Forum, on 26-27 October 2009. After his victory in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas in April 2009, where he beat Isabell Werth and Satchmo, Steffen Peters then went on to conquer Anky van Grunsven and Salinero during the Aachen CDIO. Does Peters’ riding represents a new trend in international top dressage? This is one of the questions that will be discussed during the Forum.
The program committee of the Global Dressage Forum invited Peters for the ninth edition of the GDF as his riding seems to represent a new trend in top dressage. His riding looks relaxed, the horses are “easy going”. “May be a bit less spectacular but very friendly. And we love to see it”, one of the international judges commented.
GDF Moderator Richard Davison: “Steffen Peters has been a long-standing member of the US Championship team for many years and has a depth of experience behind him. But now he is taking the dressage world by storm. After a near-medal place in last years Olympic Games he has since defeated the mighty Isabell Werth and Anky van Grunsven. The organising committee of the Global Dressage Forum is proud to have, yet again, secured the services of one of the world’s most successful riders’
