How can dressage sport become more comprehensible? How can it become more fair? More attractive? In the past months, the “Dressage Task Force" of the International Equestrian Federation FEI has developed ideas and concepts under the Chairmanship of the CHIO Aachen’s Show Director Frank Kemperman.
While doing so, dressage experts have also consulted external know-how. They watched judging methods for figure skating and discussed with experts of the International Gymnastics Federation. The Task Force’s conceptions will now be tested during a trial competition on September 7th and 8th in the Deutsche Bank Stadium on the CHIO show grounds.
Following their newly developed methods and ideas, the most renowned international judges will assess the dressage riders’ performances (f.e. Team European Champion Imke Schellekens-Bartels and Jana Kun from Aachen).
The demonstrations are open to the public, the entry for spectators is free on both days. The presentations will begin on Monday, September 7th, 1 p.m. and will end in the early evening of Tuesday, September 8th.
