The VHO Trophy is a special competition held annually at the KWPN licensing for small and big tour licensed KWPN stallions.
Only five competitors showed up this year for the 2010 VHO Trophy. It became a neck-to-neck race between two small tour horses and three Grand Prix stallions. The chestnut stallion Tango scored 75.50% and won with a minimal point difference from Edward Gal aboard the bay stallion United (by Krack C) with 75.17%.
Karen Galema and the black Maestro (by Contango) finished third with 70.33%. They were followed by another Contango offspring, Citango, which made his show debut with Grand Prix rider Laurens van Lieren. The new duo scored 67.67% and beat Thamar Zweistra on the 18-year old Rubiquil (by Rubinstein) with a score of 66.83%.
