Ester Maruhn and her Hanoverian bred Watulele (by Wolkenstein II x Frappant) won the 6-year old dressage horse Bundeschampionate qualifier at the regional show at Altenhof in the Schleswig-Holstein area on 12 June 2010. The competition only had one dressage horse BuCha class and was otherwise and international show jumping event.
Maruhn already obtained her Bundeschampionate qualification score at the trial in Bremen. Fortunately because her 7.7 winning score at Altenhof wouldn't have sufficed to get to Warendorf.
Inger Jane Steen and the Oldenburg gelding Furst Fridolin (by Furst Heinrich x Calimero) was second with 7.4, tying with Karin Winter-Polac on Simsalabim, a German Riding Horse stallion by Chagall's Charming Boy x Atoll.
