The Danish city of Herning, known for organizing the annual Danish warmblood Stallion Licensing, has officially placed a bid with the FEI to host the 2013 European Dressage and Show Jumping Championships.
JBK Horse Shows, Sport Event Denmark, the city of Herning and the Danish Equestrian Federation are working together to ensure that Herning becomes the host city for the largest equestrian event hosted on Danish soil. The Danish bid was officially presented at the Falsterbo Horse Show last weekend in Sweden.
Host cities must present their bid to the FEI Dressage and Show Jumping Committees on 28 and 30 August 2010. The final decision is made at the 2010 FEI General Assembly in Taipei in November.
