Amazing Star Continues to Amaze in 2010 Pavo Cup Finals

The bay licensed stallion Amazing Star (by Flemmingh x Ferro) continues to amaze in the first round of the 2010 Pavo Cup Finals, held at the 2010 KWPN Paardendagen in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 20 August 2010.

After winning the semi-finals, Amazing Star did not let go of that number one position in the first of two rounds that make up the Pavo Cup Finals. Under Theo Hanzon, the bay stallion scored 88 which brings his total to 173 points. 

Petri Bax and the gelding Avatar (by Negro x Ferro) climbed two places in the ranking to a second provision place. The pair received 85 points from the judges today and are now at 167 points.

Just one point and a half behind them are Emmelie Scholtens and Ad Valk's licensed stallion Apache (by UB40). They got 82 points (165,5 total). 

Six horses in total qualifier for the second part of the finals, a testing by two guest judge riders, and this year they are Seth Boschman and Carl Hester. The other qualificants are fourth placed Aaron (by Florencio x Record), and the two fifth placed horses President's Avanti (by United x Farrington) and Annerijke (by Jazz x Gribaldi).
