Despite severe rain fall, the 2010 KWPN Foal Auction in Borculo was a huge success. With an average knock down price of 10,500 euro per foal, buyers at the Borculo auction got value for money.
There were two price highlights, both selling for 31,000 euro. Even though the colt Fantast (by Tango x Florencio x Jazz) was slightly injured the foal sold for this top pirce. The most expensive filly was Florence STF, by San Amour out of a full sister to Adelinde Cornelissen's Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft). She sold for 31,000 euro as well.
Danish Esben Möller, manager of Blue Hors Stud, acquired two foals for 30,000 euro: First Choice (by Jazz x Negro) and Fletsch (by Ampere x Jazz x Zeoliet). First Class sold for 28,000 euro, while Full Colour got a new owner for 26,000 euro. The 2010 KWPN Foal of the Year, Ferrari (by Apache x Jazz) sold for 23,000 euro.
