2010 represents the 10th anniversary of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. On 30 September 2000, the Sydney International Equestrian Centre was alive with thousands of spectators cheering for the Australian Dressage Team.
The grandstands reached towards the blue skies, dressage fans milled around the main arena waiting to watch the Australian Team show they were a nation to be taken seriously in the international dressage scene. Kristy Oatley Nist proved this by coming 9th in the Individual Dressage.
