Denina, Top Seller at the 2010 Klosterhof Medingen Auction

2010 Klosterhof Medingen Auction

The 4-year old Hanoverian mare Denina became the top selling horse at the 2010 Klosterhof Medingen auction in Bad Bevensen, Germany. The black mare by Danone I x Konsequent x Caprimond sold for 270,000 euro to the Böckmann-Heinrich family from Hamburg.

Fats Domino, a 3-year old dark bay Hanoverian stallion by Fidertanz x De Niro x Weltmeyer, achieved a knock down price of 120,000 euro. He moves to Nordrhine-Westfalia.

Mares ruled the 2010 edition of this private auction. The third most expensive horse of the auction was another mare: Diavolezza, a 4-year old bay Hanoverian mare by Distelzar x De Niro x Wienerwald. A Hamburg based buyer paid 106,000 euro for her.

Two young sport horses sold for 90,000 euro: the 5-year old bay gelding Dancing Dynamite (by Danone x Herzzauber x Caprimond) sold to the US.S.A., the 4-year old chestnut Dunhill (by De Niro x Caprimond x Wenzel I) moves to Lower Saxony.

The 4-year old mare Fidertänzerin (by Fidertanz x De Niro x Caprimond) sold for 32,000 euro to the Lutkemeier-Capellmann family.

Nine out of twenty-four foals sold for more than 10,000 euro. The best seller was the filly Fernet Branca (by Fidertanz x De Niro x Caprimond). She sold via the telephone to Austria for 45,000 euro.
