More change in store for German dressage trainer Falk Rosenbauer. Not even two months after he had to part with his top Grand Prix horse Desperados, Rosenbauer has decided to take another turn in his life.
He is leaving his current employer, Gestut Gronwohldhof, and relocating near Flensburg, Germany.
German equestrian magazine St. Georg reported that Rosenbauer is seeking a new life and inspiration at Hof Norwegen, where his friend Markus Waterhues is based. Falk has worked on and off for Gronwohldhof since 1993. Trained by the late Herbert Rehbein and his widow Karin, Rosenbauer was at Gronwohldhof from 1993 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2010.
"I needed change," Rosenbauer told ST.GEORG. "I want to downsize a bit, ride five to seven horses a day and give clinics abroad."
As of 1 January 2011 Falk will be at Hof Norwegen and he's taking five horses, including Gerd Sosath's much acclaimed stallion Detroit (by Dimaggio x Lord Liberty G). "He's my new favourite," said Falk.
