While working on our archives these past few days, we uploaded a special photo report from the 2001 European Pony Championships. Eurodressage's in-house photographer Dirk Caremans travelled to Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, to shoot the 2001 European Pony Championships at Montenmedio.
The 2001 European Pony Championships became a German extravaganza with all four team riders covering the top four spots.
German Marion Engelen became the 2001 European Pony Champion for her rides on the Bundeschampion stallion Dornik B. The silver went to Carde Meyer on the Bundeschampion Keep Cool (by Kastellano) while the bronze was for Christina Thomas on her tall chestnut Diddi Keeps Cool.
