Germany’s new hope, the 11 year old stallion Totilas and his rider Matthias Alexander Rath (Kronberg), will present themselves first time at the “Horses & Dreams” dressage arena in Hagen a.T.W. from 4th till 8th May 2011. “I’m excited about the first competition with Totilas in public. He is a fascinating and great partner and the last few months were very emotional for both of us. Hagen aTW. will be the first touchstone at our way to Olympia 2012,” says Matthias Rath.
Since beginning of the year Rath exercises intensively with the exceptional horse under the eyes of Klaus-Martin Rath, the coach and father of Matthias Rath: “The last weeks we decided to start the outdoor season already in Hagen aTW. There we have an excellent infrastructure and best conditions for the first start”, explains Klaus-Martin Rath.
Till then the whole team will prepare precisely and work intensively on lessons during the remaining weeks. “We all are excited about the prospects in Hagen. One thing for sure: the whole team is really looking forward” said the 26 year old team bronze medalist of the world equestrian championship.
Rath knows that a lot of media and dressage fans from all over the world will come and look at him. Press enquiries from Australia, USA, Spain, France, Netherland, Sweden, Japan, England and other countries reached the PR-agency of Matthias Rath last week and showed already international interest.
