Matthias Rath's second Grand Prix horse Triviant has been sold to the Swedish Grand Prix rider Charlotte Haid-Bondergaard. The 10-year old Dutch warmblood gelding by Olivi x Saluut will continue his competition career for Sweden.
"We decided to let Triviant go because we want to focus ourselves fully on Totilas and concentrate on the upcoming challenges," said Klaus-Martin Rath, who is married to Triviant's former owner Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff. "Triviant is an excellent horse with a big future at Grand Prix level. We wish him and his new owner and rider lots of success."
Linsenhoff acquired the 2000 born Triviant for 400,000 euro at the PSI Auction in December 2005. Matthias Rath qualified the sympathetic bay gelding for the 2010 World Cup Finals in Den Bosch, where they finished 8th with Triviant's tailor-made freestyle "Rhapsody in Blue".
