Polish Katarzyna Milczarek won the 2011 Central European League World Cup Final which was held in Warsaw on 25 - 27 March 2011. The competition featured nine pairs from 6 countries and the Polish Milczarek rode her 11-years old Polish warmblood stallion Ekwador (by Heraldik x Corofino) to victory.
The Hungarian Robert Acs, who was placed second provisionally in the Central European League ranking of 2010/11, finished second in the Grand Prix kur to music with 70.000%. He rode his 14-year old westfalian gelding Weinzauber (by Weinberg x Upan La Jarthe AA). The third place with a score of 69.900% went to 25-year old Ukrainian Sergey Puzko on the 16-year old Trakehner gelding Kompliment (by Werstowoj x Topkij), which he recently bought from Russian Inessa Poturaeva.
The top five was completed by Estonian Grete Barak on her 15-year KWPN stallion O Hot Chocolate (by Mendo - Indiaan) scoring 64.900%, while the Russian Anna Pyrkiny (4th place in the LEC ranking ) and the Polish Zaneta Skowronska finished fifth with identical scores.
The top two ranked combinations in the Centreal European League Finals qualified to compete at the 2011 World Cup Finals in Leipzig, Germany, held the last week of April 2011. Katarzyna Milczarek, who is trained by Ernst Hoyos in Germany, and Robert Acs are the lucky ones.
The total amount of the prize to be shared was 7000 euro. The jury in the final comprised of Jacques Van Daale (BEL), Janusz Lawin (POL), Wac?aw Pruchniewicz (POL), who was president of the ground jury, Dietrich Plewa (GER), and Maria Zvonimirova Todorowska-Omari (BUL)
