French 2006 WEG Team rider Constance Menard is returning to the international show circuit. After a series of set backs, including the retirement of her Grand Prix horse Lianca due to an injury and a personal rehabilitation after a severe accident, a new window of opportunity has opened for Constance.
The Grand Prix rider will join the team of riders at Odyle Reynaud's sport horse stud farm Haras de la Ferrandière in Roman, France. Her new job starts on 1 May 2011 and Constance will be trained by her father Jacques Henry Menard and by German/Dutch trainer Ton de Ridder.
Haras de la Ferrandière is an up and coming dressage stable in France. They own the licensed Westfalian stallion Lord Sunshine, which they acquired for the top selling price of 190,000 euro at the Westfalian elite auction, as well as Salazar, a rising Grand Prix horse ridden by Ton de Ridder's rider Geertje Hesse.
Constance Menard is French-born but declared for Israel in 2009.
