2010 World Young Horse Champion Astrix has been licensed for the KWPN society. The black Obelisk x Olivi offspring completed the 21-day stallion performance test in Stegeren, The Netherlands, with a total score of 83,5 points.
Astrix is bred by E.T. ten Bosch from Driel, The Netherlands, and owned by Stable Perlee. The colt excelled in his rideability during the testing for which he scored 9.5.
"Astrix is an honest, reliable stallion with a very good temperament," the KWPN stallions performance testing report mentioned. "The stallion has much willingness to work and great rideability. The walk is pure and good in ground cover. The trot is good in ground cover. The canter is powerful and good in ground cover. Astrix moves with good balance and self-carriage but should naturally move the whithers more upwards. As a dressage horse, Astrix has very much potential and he gives his rider a good feeling."
Astrix scored 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter and suppleness, 7.5 for balance and self carriage, 9.5 for rideability and 8.5 for dressage potential.
